NATURALLY LEVEL MINDED
Hillco's beginnings date back to 1982 in answer to what seemed to be a growing need for products that enhanced the performance of today’s larger combines. As combines grew larger and production numbers decreased, the major combine manufacturers concentrated on their “core” markets. Unfortunately, for farmers, many of them don’t live in “core” market areas and are faced with a host of challenges that are not taken into consideration by today’s combine manufacturers. Enter Hillco Technologies. Hillco has built a reputation for taking standard combines and making them excel in anything but standard conditions. |

WHAT'S THE STORY?
It started with being surrounded by some of the nation's steepest farmland in the Pacific Northwest and then addressing the problems that combines faced in any given harvest on such severe terrain. Owners Lenny Hill and Carroll and Charlene Keith saw a huge need and began to research the potential of products that enhanced combine performance in the hills. That study led to a lengthy process of developing a leveling system that met what they demanded as two important criteria: |
1. It had to be practical - it needed to make sense not only from an operational standpoint but from an economical one.
2. It had to be technologically sound - This thing had to durable and not only work well, but better than any other on the market. |

THE DRAWING BOARD
Producing first, prototypes that were tested and retested in the field, a new generation of leveling systems began to evolve.
